From June through August, our LAMQG Challenge will be contributing to The Quilt for Democracy. An excellent way to begin this challenge is to participate in Lorraine Woodruff-Long’s Workshop Express Yourself! Creating Text for Quilt and Fiber Projects (June 13th, 10am-4pm). More details about this workshop are below. Sign up today! Quilt blocks should be cut to 13” x 13” which allows for a ½” seam allowance.
When sewn using the ½” seam allowance, the actual finished block reflecting our image/message will then be 12” x 12”.
This 12” x 12” area will reflect your design and message. For detailed instructions click here To join in or if you have questions, contact Dona@LAMQG.org
